1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions govern the storage of firearms and related items by Armoury Advancements ("the Company"), a UK-registered firearms dealership. By using our storage services, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility 2.1 The Client must hold a valid UK firearms certificate, shotgun certificate, or other relevant authority required by law to store firearms. 2.2 The Client must provide proof of identity and valid documentation before any storage services commence.
3. Storage Services 3.1 Armoury Advancements offers secure storage for firearms, ammunition, and related accessories. 3.2 All items stored must be legally owned and accompanied by appropriate certification or documentation. 3.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse storage of any item that it deems unsafe, illegal, or inappropriate.
4. Firearms and Ammunition 4.1 All firearms and ammunition must be unloaded and securely packaged before delivery to the storage facility. 4.2 Firearms must be accompanied by all relevant documentation, including but not limited to, proof of ownership and a valid firearms certificate.
5. Access and Retrieval 5.1 The Client may access their stored items during the Company's operating hours, subject to prior appointment and presentation of the necessary documentation. 5.2 A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for the retrieval of any stored items. 5.3 Only the Client or an authorised representative with written permission from the Client may retrieve stored items.
6. Storage Fees 6.1 The Client agrees to pay all applicable storage fees as specified by the Company. 6.2 Fees are payable in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as agreed between the Client and the Company. 6.3 Late payments may incur additional charges, and the Company reserves the right to withhold access to stored items until all outstanding fees are paid.
7. Liability and Insurance 7.1 Armoury Advancements will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of stored items. 7.2 The Company is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of stored items unless such loss, damage, or theft is directly caused by the Company's negligence. 7.3 The Client is advised to maintain their own insurance coverage for all stored items.
8. Termination of Storage Agreement 8.1 The storage agreement may be terminated by either party with 30 days' written notice. 8.2 Upon termination, the Client must arrange for the retrieval of all stored items within the notice period. 8.3 If the Client fails to retrieve their items within the specified period, the Company reserves the right to dispose of the items in accordance with UK law.
9. Compliance with Law 9.1 The Client agrees to comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations concerning the storage, possession, and transfer of firearms and ammunition. 9.2 The Company reserves the right to report any suspicious activity or non-compliance to the relevant authorities.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions 10.1 Armoury Advancements reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The Client will be notified of any changes in writing. 10.2 Continued use of the storage services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
11. Governing Law 11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 11.2 Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
